John B. Carr, Jr. founded Carr Capital Management in 2015. Prior to founding Carr Capital and since 1973, John was a managing director at Morgan Keegan & Co., Inc., a brokerage and investment banking firm in Memphis, Tennessee. John is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a B.A.in Economics and St. Paul’s School in Baltimore, Maryland, where he remains active.
C. Samuel Carr is a founding partner of Carr Capital Management. Prior to Carr Capital, Sam was a senior industry analyst at SNL Financial focusing on the financial services industry. Sam graduated from St. Albans School in Washington, D.C. before receiving an M.S. from the McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia, and a B.A. (with distinction) from the University of Virginia.
